Did you know that there is an actual company in Milwaukee manufacturing and selling Festivus Poles? Here is a news story the Chronicle did on it. Also, here is their website although it is apparently getting overloaded with traffic and is mostly down or very slow every time I try to go. If you are not familiar with Festivus, it is a holiday that was created on Seinfeld.
Being an unreligious type of person, I always thought it was a pretty cool idea except for I'm not sure I am completely on-board with all of the Festivus activities that Mr. Costanza came up with, such as "The Airing Of Grievances". Hmm.
I am certain there is a groovy You Tube segment to go along with this blog entry, but I'll just wait around until the You Tube King has time to provide us with a link to it :D
Yeah, Festivus is interesting and all, but I am much more of a Decemberween person, myself. Last one in's a rotten friend!

Festivus for the rest of us.
Hangin' at MIL's house (TV with 1.4 million channels) rules. Naturally I watch either 1. Sports, 2. James Bond marathons 3. History Channel. Last night (on number 3) I watched the history of Christmas. It was pretty interesting (pretty interesting = Deb falling asleep w/in 5 minutes).
