...And when you're in a Slump,
you're not in for much fun.
Un-slumping yourself
is not easily done...
...I'm afraid that some times
you'll play lonely games too.
Games you can't win
'cause you'll play against you...
Although "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" by Dr. Seuss is usually associated as a graduation poem, it kills me every time I read it. My 7 year old son read it to me tonight (quite impressively,) and I was once again reminded that this poem is really for everybody, all of the time. I cried at all of the parts that seemed to be speaking directly into my frontal lobe, which is what always happens when I read this book or have it read to me. I guess there is just something about Dr. Seuss administering a literary hug and telling me that everything is going to be okay that really makes me emotional.
Here is an interesting YouTube reading of the poem. Although the narrator reads it a little faster than I do in my head, I like this video because it shows the illustrations in the book as he reads page by page.

Weird. Are you sure? I can't make it NOT be there no matter how much cache clearing and browser switching I do. I even watched it again on the YouTube site. It's so great. Hopefully you've read it before. If not you'll have to find it some other way.
I wonder what is up?!
