My Very First Mac
Holy crap!!!! After at least 6 years of waiting I am finally a MAC OWNER!!!
It started to feel like it would never actually happen, but yesterday my old compy died and I knew it was time. I am still not certain that my old hard drives survived the ordeal, but I am hopeful. Please feel free to do a happy hard drive dance on my behalf. :)
Anyway, check out my new iMac. I got the 20", basic model. I was prepared to be spending all night setting it up but it literally took me 5 - 10 minutes to go from sealed box to surfing the interwebs. That was cool. So far I'm very happy.

Cool! That's the amazing thing about macs ... they just work. Now you should start reading 43 folders, they post about all kinds of mac goodness. And get quicksilver, you'll like it.

Yes! 43 Folders - I've actually been following that for a while now and I love it. I'll be sure to check out quicksilver.
