Onions and Sunshine
I hadn't seen this yet, but it is WAY teh funny.

... do you think if I keep talking like that in my blog that I may eventually forgot how to speak like an intelligent adult? "Way teh funny"?? :::siiiiiigh::: I'm sure it's fine.
I saw an EXTREMELY excellent movie this weekend. Most of you know I'm not a big movie head, but I've gotta say that finding this gem has really caused me to consider what else I've been missing. It has immediately scored a spot on my Favorite Movies Of All Time list. I think I'm going to have to buy it so I can watch it again. I know this seems like a mundane gesture to most people but considering that the last movie I bought for myself was ... waaas ... uh, hmm. I, uh, don't think I've ever bought a movie for *myself* - I've gotten plenty for the kids, but I can't think of any I bought just for me. Oh wait! There is one, Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf. Love. I bought the DVD to replace the VHS I had of it like maybe ... 4 or 5 years ago.
Oh. Maybe I should tell you the name of this new favorite movie. It is Little Miss Sunshine. Many thanks to Terry for making it all possible.

Turquoise Glow
I love things that give off a subtle turquoise glow. There is something about them that fills me with serenity, happiness, and pleasure. It is rare to find such things in real life. Sometimes watches and cell phones have features that can give off a turquoise glow but usually I only find the really great things in video games or in other forms of graphic design.
This is definitely something I'm planning to eventually incorporate into the interior design of my home, but until that time comes I've attempted to bring the beauty to my blog.
Here are some examples of turquoise glowy things that I like:
Glow paint. I plan to actually buy and use this some day.

More glow paint. Okay so it's a gratuitous photo of a hot guy using glow paint. So sue me.
Screencap from MystIII: Exile. This probably looks familiar. This is not a coincidence.
A reason to get an iPod. Oh right, I suppose there are other good reasons as well, but this might actually prompt me to get one. Do not attempt to adjust your monitor, you read that correctly: I do not have an iPod. I also have pretty close to zero MP3s. I have no reason for this, it is just a fact.
Shrooms. Yeah, they're a little more blue than turquoise but we are not holding that against them.
