Oh!! I forgot to add one other thing that I was really happy about yesterday. (Actually I am still happy about it today and probably will continue to be happy about it for weeks.)
I did NOT download Firefox 2.0. :)

Okay Monday
It was kind of a good day today despite how completely annoying it was to get up, get ready and drive all the way to work only to immediately turn around and drive back home. My office was supposed to be painted on Friday, but when I got to work there was no new paint and also all of my furniture was positioned so there was no possible way of working in my office. Lame. So I left.
After that, things started looking up - for example, when I *did* return home I immediately jumped back into my jammies - yes!!
Then I proceeded to work and blare XM as loudly as I could. Ha! Stupid coworkers not loving my music. Take that!!
Also great, two words: Halloween Homestar.
If the genius of dressing Pom Pom up like Mario Batali doesn't kill me, then absolutely nothing will.
Then later I made it to the gym, and afterwards took the kids out for their first vietnamese food (which I love)!! They seemed to enjoy it, and my 11 year old even ate her whole meal with chopsticks! I was impressed, especially since she ordered soup. :)
Lastly to top it all off, I finally progressed on Exile. Nothing like being stuck in the same spot for 5 years. Okay, so I haven't really been playing much over those 5 years, but still. We found new stuff!! I'm so excited and haven't stopped squealing since. And I say "we" because it was a group effort, the kids were totally helping me. I am so thrilled that we are ALL a bunch of computer game junkies. Well maybe "junkies" is a bit strong, but we all seem to enjoy partaking of The Game, if ya ken.
*RSS/atom note - as far as I can tell my atom feed is the only one that properly dispays my links in news readers. ::sigh::

That's right, voip! You know, that's the sound it makes when a 70s era style robot instantaneously disintegrates the molecular structure of a person or thing with one blast from its ... erm, laser shooter thingie. Said laser shooter thingie can be in either eye form or blaster form.
Anyway, my point is that this fantastic onomatopoeia is sorely underrepresented in our everyday vernacular. We need to change that. Yes, I'm talking to YOU! You don't even have to be disintegrating anything to use it.
Just use it as an exclamation! ... Use it when you're startled!... Put some in your cereal!!
Um, anyway ... my 6 year old is unwittingly leading this campaign and he totally rools. You know I'm right, so get to voiping already.
See? I promise pointlessness, and I deliver pointlessness.

So Dumb
Forget new software. I figured out the problem with help from a really cool dude I know. You totally rock, really cool dude - I SO need to buy you a slice of Bayou Goo. :)
So I'm here for a while longer. And now I'd like to make a real entry.
