Pointlessly Modified Bridgekeeper
1. What is the best name you ever gave a pet?
Laszlo - named after Lazlo Hollyfeld (the character in Real Genius, not the band) for those of you that are just tuning in. I actually took the spelling from Laszlo Kovacs whose name I noticed in many an 80s movie credit roll. Cool name.
2. What is your quest?
Uummm....seriously?? Chocolate.
3. What is your favorite roman numeral?
That's easy. IV of course.
Okaaaay, your turn.............GO!!

I Dislike 99.35781% Of All Jokes and Moths
....but somehow a joke (loosely) about a moth resides in that other 0.64219%
A man walks into a dentist's office and says, "Excuse me, can you help me. I think I'm a moth."
Dentist: "You don't need a dentist. You need a psychiatrist."
Man: "Yes, I know."
Dentist: "So why did you come in here?"
Man: "The light was on..."

Ten Backwards Is One
Aaaahhh, do you enjoy the insightful tidbits from the mind of my five year old as much as I do? I doubt it. Not only did he enlighten me to the fact that 10 backwards is 1, but he also dared to assert that 100 backwards is 1 as well. He rules.
I can barely believe that school starts in 2 days. My son will be in kindergarten and my daughter will be in 5th grade. Wow.
I spent entirely too much money on school clothes, but BOY are my kids cute!!
After living in my house for over a month I finally decided that yesterday was the appropriate time to buy a kitchen full of groceries. For the occassion, I selected Whole Foods as the grocer-of-choice which is appropriate because along with the new house is a new family diet (primarily vegetarian in nature). I've been wanting to do this for quite some time, and am excited to now be able to finally enact it. We'll see how it works though - I am a bit concerned about making sure the kids get all of the nutrients that they need. I am aware that I will be having to pay more attention to this than I am used to, but actually I probably wasn't paying enough attention to it in the first place, so all in all this seems like a good idea.
Oh and in case you were not aware of it....Homestar Runner rules.
(I had to have at least one link before finishing this entry, no?)

Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beerholder*
I've tasted the Lambic...and it is gooood.

Good thing I was too much of an airhead to find out how much it cost (at the Flying Saucer) before I ordered it <cough>$12.00 per bottle</cough>, otherwise I never would have found out how good it is.
I'm such a beer drinker. Although this hardly tastes like "traditional" beer.... I got the framboise flavored one because it came highly recommended. I've heard that next I am to try the peach one.
Ok.
However, I don't see myself getting one at the Flying Saucer again.
After-show IRC group meet-ups are fun! Tonight we had Kymberlie, Phliktid, Barrett, and Jaylee...we missed the rest of you. But there is always the Geek Gathering, so don't miss that (this Friday)!!
*I didn't come up with this phrase - it is printed on the shirts that the waitresses at the Flying Saucer wear. I had to borrow it though. :)
